Why we started Trash Company
We wanted to build something that felt simple, steady, and genuinely neighborly.
We didn’t start Trash Company because trash is exciting - we started it because it shouldn’t be frustrating.
Our owners Luke McAfee and Corey Holcomb grew up here in Fayette County and have been best friends since childhood. This is home for them — the roads they drive, the neighbors they wave to, the places that shaped who they are.
Life feels complicated enough these days, and the little things matter more than we realize. Showing up when you say you will. Charging a fair price. Treating people with care and respect.
Trash pickup is a small part of daily life, but when it works well, it quietly makes everything feel a little easier. And when businesses take pride in doing ordinary things well, it builds trust — the kind that makes communities feel connected again.
Trash Company was created to serve our neighbors, keep things straightforward, and be a reliable presence you don’t have to think twice about. We’re grateful to be here — and to grow alongside the community that raised us.

Luke McAfee
As owner of Fayette Fire and Security, you may have already met Luke! With a bachelor's degree in business management, his top priorities are reliability, efficiency, and trust in his businesses. When you call to inquire, sign up, or otherwise discuss Trash Company and its services, Luke will be on the other end of the line ready to help make your life easier and streamline your waste management.
Corey Holcomb
Lifetime resident of Fayette County, Corey is grateful to serve the community through improving access to reliable, friendly, and affordable trash service. Corey is also the west Tennessee sales manager for MiracleGro, where he has developed strong relationships with homeowners , contractors, and local businesses while gaining experience in customer service and operations.
